- On December 31, 2014, Nuestra Gente Community Projects, Inc., received permission from the Federal Communications Commission to proceed with the development of a low-watt Spanish language FM radio station.

WVZC-LP 96.5 FM Nuestra Gente is a trusted source of information and a community partner that is rising to the challenge to fill the gaps and meet the needs of the local Latino Spanish speaking population. It is founded on the belief that people from all parts of our community should have equal access, information, and a chance to have their voices heard, while also being included in any and all community conversations.
This new 24/7 radio station provides music, local, national and international news, talk shows, and another important programming to the Latino population in the area. WVZC-LP 96.5 FM Nuestra Gente, is the first Spanish FM radio station in the City of Toledo, Ohio. A radio station with high quality programming focusing on cultural, educational and wholesome entertainment with strict adherence to professional ethics and social responsibility during the broadcasts. We are offering an easily accessible service to provide valuable information and education.
WVZC-LP 96.5 FM Nuestra Gente, is a station that provides a community broadcasting service to the people of Toledo, Sylvania, Oregon and Rossford.
- El día 31 de diciembre del 2014, Nuestra Gente Community Projects, Inc. recibió permiso de la Federal Communications Commission para llevar adelante el desarrollo de una estación de radio FM de baja frecuencia, totalmente en español.
- El día 30 de Diciembre, 2017 a las 2:59 pm hora del Este, pusimos al aire WVZC-LP 96.5 FM Nuestra Gente. Esta estación de radio es 24 horas al día. Los oyentes disfrutan de música; noticias locales, nacionales e internacionales; tertulias; y varios programas de interés para la comunidad Latina del área. WVZC-LP 96.5 FM Nuestra Gente es la primera estación de radio FM en español en el Condado de Lucas, en la ciudad de Toledo. Entre las características destacadas de nuestra radio está la alta calidad de nuestra programación, la cual se concentra en temas de interés cultural, educativo, y de salud, siempre teniendo presentes valores éticos, profesionales, y de responsabilidad social. Lo que ofrecemos es una plataforma con un contenido de alto valor informativo y educativo al alcance de todos.
